UP Board 10th, 12th Result 2020 Declared: Anurag Malik Tops Class 12 Intermediate Exam; Ria Jain Tops 10th exams

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) Prayagraj declared the result of class 10 and 12 today. The Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma announced the result at 12 pm via a press conference in Lucknow’s Lok Kalyan Bhawan. The result is available at 3:30 pm at the official websites.

Over 56.11 lakh students appeared in the class 10 and 12 exams this year, with 30.24 lakh students (30,24,632) in High School and 25.86 lakh (25,86,440) students in Intermediate. This year, the high school and intermediate toppers will receive a laptop and Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.

The pass percentage in UP Board class 10 remained 83.31 per cent this year, which is better than 80.07 per cent in 2019. The pass percentage of UP Board Class 12 Result 2020 remained 74.64 per cent. Last year 70.2 per cent students had passed the intermediate exams in UP.

Anurag Malik from Shri Ram Inter College, Baghpat, has topped UP Board Intermediate Class 12 exams by scoring 97 per cent marks. While Abhimanyu Malik scored the highest, Pranjal Singh with 96 per cent marks from SP Inter College in Prayagraj and Utkarsh Shukla with 94.80 per cent marks from Shri Gopal Inter College in Aurraiya, secured second and third position respectively.
