Yogi Adityanath on Friday offered prayers at Gorakhnath temple, ahead of filing nomination for state Assembly election.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and firebrand BJP leader Yogi Adityanath will file his nomination papers Friday from the Gorakhpur Urban Assembly constituency for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections 2022. Besides Shah, Uttar Pradesh BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh and Nishad Party chief Sanjay Nishad would also accompany Adityanath when he goes to file his nomination papers.
This is the first time Yogi Adityanath, a five-time former Lok Sabha MP, is contesting state assembly elections as a candidate. Amit Shah had earlier declared Yogi Adityanath the party’s CM face.
